Patrick

McHenry
Whether performing solo, or in a duo or band, Patrick brings his own, personal touch to every song. From covers of top hits as well as those rare gems to his originals, each show takes the audience on a journey it won't soon forget!
"I've spent the last 25 years performing in the singer/songwriter circuit and love it! There's something about it being "all you" on stage that makes you put everything you have into each song. It's a great feeling to see the look on faces in the audience when I play a tune a way they've never heard before. But I also love playing some heavy groove percussion and singing rock and R&B with a band. I don't have to be the front man....I love cutting loose as a background singer and musician!"
It's difficult to put his original music under just one style but listening to Patrick perform live (or in the studio) you can easily hear influences ranging from James Taylor to Darryl Hall and Dan Fogelberg to Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Three Dog Night to CSN&Y.
"I love the whole process of songwriting. It's great when a new song subject, line, or hook just pops into my head. And I love to write in almost all genres and styles which can include country or jazz to bossa nova and beyond. Every Kind of People by Robert Palmer is my favorite tune of all time. Musically, he captured every groove just perfect and that's what it's all about."
"Pat is one of the finest singers I know, and James Taylor has nothing over him!! Pat has got to be one of the most underrated singer/musicians on the scene today..." Sherry Winston, International Recording Artist, Flying Flute Records www.sherrywinston.com
